The Citation CJ2 is the successor to Cessna's CJ1, sporting a longer fuselage and two Williams-Rolls FJ44-2C engines.
The Citation CJ2 is a part of the "CitationJet" series, which includes the CJ1, CJ1+, and CJ2+.
This jet comes with a higher ceiling than most other jets, with a cabin height of 4.76 ft. Coupled with a max speed of 0.61 Mach, this makes the Citation CJ2 an ideal light jet for chartering to and from San Francisco.
The Citation CJ2 only requires one pilot to operate amd is easy to fly, with several automated systems and simple avionics.
Compared to its CJ1 predecessor, the CJ2 has a higher maximum take-off weight by 1,700 pounds, and its maximum fuel weight is 780 pounds heavier. This allows for a greater maximum range than the CJ1, allowing for better flight planning.
